Abstract
Neurotoxic side-effects of tuberculosis chemotherapy occurred in 14.9% of patients with tuberculosis treated prophylactically with intramuscular pyridoxine infusions. Use of small doses of nootropil (piracetam) allowed to control the side-effects (headache and vertigo, sleep disorders, irritation, memory disorders) and to continue treatment with isoniazide, one of the most potent tuberculostatic agents.Entities:
