Abstract
Benign metastasizing pleomorphic adenoma is a rare condition that occurs in patients with a prior history of pleomorphic adenoma of the salivary glands. Metastases to the kidney are extremely rare, and, to the best of our knowledge, their imaging appearance on multiple cross-sectional imaging modalities has not been described. We present a solitary metastasis to the kidney in a 40-year-old woman. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a 2.4 cm, well-marginated, enhancing mass that protruded into the renal sinus fat. Findings were indistinguishable from a primary renal malignancy. Prior history is crucial in suggesting the correct diagnosis.Entities:
