Abstract

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this article is to illustrate the causes of snapping knee. The value of imaging techniques is discussed with an emphasis on dynamic sonography in light of the available surgical and radiologic literature.
CONCLUSION: Because of its dynamic capabilities, dynamic sonography provides real-time visualization of snapping knee syndrome and may be used as a first-line modality.
