Abstract
52 patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and 300 normal subjects were tested for 33 HLA-A, B, C antigens. We did not observe any statistically significant difference in antigenic frequencies between the two groups. The absence of association with HLA in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a distinction with multiple sclerosis, which is associated with several HLA antigens.Entities:
