Abstract
This study illustrates the case of a middle-aged woman who presented with sepsis and purpura fulminans, found to be due to Streptococcus pneumoniae infection. She later developed blindness from a dramatic ocular inflammatory response provoked by pneumococcal antigens.Entities:
