Abstract
This study presents the case of a 66-year-old man with a non-small cell bronchial carcinoma that metastasized into a prolactin (PRL)-producing pituitary adenoma. The pituitary adenoma cells were immunoreactive for PRL and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). It is hypothesized that VEGF and PRL played a role in the development of metastasis within the adenoma.Entities:
