Abstract
The compression hip screw has a wide application in fracture management and elective orthopaedics. Due to the design of the sliding screw, bone ingrowth behind the threads can lead to difficulties in metalwork removal, especially in the younger patient. A simple technique is described using the plate to assist nail removal.Entities:
