Abstract
The traditional treatment of cricoid cartilage fractures concurrent with subglottic stenosis in pediatric patients usually requires an open approach with a high rate of complications and morbidity. We present here a case report of a successful treatment of a cricoid cartilage fracture concurrent with a subglottic stenosis in an adolescent patient using balloon dilation. The mentioned procedure reduced the fracture and allowed us to prevent a tracheostomy and its complications.Entities:
