Hypercholesterolemia: total cholesterol ≥200 mg/dl, Low HDL-C: HDL-C <40 mg/dl, Hypertriglyceridemia: triglycerides ≥150 mg/dl, Hypertension: systolic blood pressure ≥140 mm Hg and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mm Hg or current use of antihypertensive medication, Diabetes: fasting plasma glucose ≥126 mg/dl, 2-hour post-glucose challenge level ≥200 mg/dl, or use of antidiabetes drugs, Family history of CVD: any prior diagnosis of CVD in a first-degree female relative younger than 65 years or a first-degree male relative younger than 55 years.
Height tertile ranges (cm): men—T1: ≤165, T2: 166–171, T3: ≥172; women—T1: ≤152, T2: 153–157, T3: ≥158.
