Abstract
Factors influencing the nursing diagnosis of pain in postoperative infants were investigated in a qualitative study. Crying was identified as the major indicator of pain. Work experience was identified as the major influence on analgesic administration by registered nurses (RNs). Needs for nursing education were identified.Entities:
