Abstract
Psychodynamic psychiatry makes a significant educational, scientific and therapeutic contribution to contemporary psychiatry. Recent developments in gene-environment interaction, neuropsychoanalysis and the accumulating evidence base for psychoanalytic therapies and their implications for practice are reviewed.Mesh:
