Fulminating gallbladder cancer presenting as leptomeningeal carcinomatosis and acute renal failure.

Abstract

We report a case of clinically undiagnosed gallbladder cancer presenting as leptomeningeal carcinomatosis and showing a fulminant clinical course with acute renal failure due to ureteric obstruction by carcinoma metastasis. A review of the literature fails to demonstrate a similar case.
