Abstract
Seventy-three patients with uterine sarcomas were treated between 1976 and 1987. Steroid receptors were analyzed in 60 cases; 48% were estrogen receptor (ER) positive, and 30% progesterone receptor (PR) positive. Only 1 of 28 patients with residual or recurrent disease showed a response to hormonal therapy. Neither receptor status of the primary tumor nor use of adjuvant hormonal therapy affected survival.Entities:
