Abstract
In 2009, two clinical trials that questioned the usefulness of vertebroplasty for the treatment of osteoporotic fractures compared with conservative treatment were reported in the New England Journal of Medicine, leading to wide debate in the literature. In this article, we provide a critical review of the scientific evidence in this field and discuss our own experience with this technique.Entities:
