Abstract
Subbaramaiah and colleagues present the first evidence indicating that a cyclooxygenase-2-prostaglandin E(2)-aromatase pathway promotes obesity-associated inflammation in women's breast tissues. Their findings shed new light on obesity-associated inflammation in general and provide a rationale for developing effective chemopreventive and therapeutic strategies targeting this pathway for obese women with breast inflammation and patients with hormone-dependent breast cancer.Entities:
