Abstract
Systemic autoimmune diseases are conditions of unknown etiology, characterized by the simultaneous or successive involvement of most organs and systems, as well as the presence of autoantibodies as biological markers. Venous thromboembolic disease has a higher incidence in this population when compared to healthy individuals. This responds to the increase in congenital and acquired risk factors in this group. One of the main risk factors is linked to the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies, whose prevalence is increased among patients with such conditions.Entities:
