The amniotic band syndrome: single-stage correction.

Abstract

Two cases of amniotic band syndrome treated by single-stage excision of the ring and multiple Z-plasty repair are presented. In both cases the author found the procedure technically easy and clinically safe. No complications were encountered in either case.
