Abstract
Between February 2008 and December 2010, the author performed 15 standardized component repairs in patients reinforced with bovine fetal collagen. Of 15 repairs, 14 (93%) were intact at an average follow-up of 18 months. This success rate is a significant improvement from the author's previous success rate with this procedure (67%) and may represent a specific contribution of bovine fetal collagen reinforcement.Entities:
