Abstract
Symptoms from a systemic amyloidosis are usually coming from one of the inner organs, e.g., heart or kidney. However, for diagnosis and for material for amyloid protein studies, biopsy from an easier accessible tissue is preferred. This chapter describes biopsy from subcutaneous adipose tissue as a particularly suitable method to obtain amyloid.Entities:
