Abstract
Mental health is an important component of occupational health. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recognizes psychological disorders as one of the 10 leading work-related diseases and injuries (Millar, 1984). Job-related stress is receiving an increasing amount of public attention, and several studies indicate that stress-related conditions are among the most important health problems of the 1990s for people at work and outside of work.Entities:
