Type I punctate palmoplantar keratoderma (Buschke-Fisher-Brauer disease) in a family--a report of two cases.

Abstract

BACKGROUND: Inherited palmoplantar keratoderma are a rare group of disorder affecting the palm and sole characterised by hyperkeratosis resulting in severe disability and deformities.
OBJECTIVE: To report a rare case of punctate palmoplantar keratoderma.
METHOD: A case attending our OPD is reported. RESULT: Case report.
CONCLUSION: This case is reported for its unique presentation and rarity.
