Effects of an intensive self-esteem building therapeutic model on adolescents in psychiatric treatment.

Abstract

An intensive two-week day hospital program for adolescent psychiatric clients was developed to build self-esteem. Results indicated that the clients' family relations improved, as did their leadership and affiliation skills.
