Abstract
Major bile duct injury is an inherent complication in cases of both open and laparoscopic cholecystectomies. In case of choledochal lesion, conservative treatment or internal derivation by a Roux-en-Y can be proposed. We report the case of a 5-year-old boy referred to our center for an iatrogenic choledochal ligation after open cholecystectomy (performed 20 d before) for asymptomatic gallbladder stone. We performed a laparoscopic conservative treatment with a consistent good result 5 years after the procedure.Entities:
