Setting up Arabidopsis crosses.

Detlef Weigel, Jane Glazebrook.

Abstract

INTRODUCTIONThe inheritance of mutant phenotypes is most often analyzed in the progeny resulting from crosses between different parents. Because Arabidopsis naturally self-pollinates, the generation of cross-progeny requires some intervention by the investigator. This protocol describes the generation and collection of seeds by crossing suitable Arabidopsis parent plants.
