Abstract
This article is a concise clinical review of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative auditory evaluation of patients with acoustic neuroma. The author describes behavioral audiometry, auditory brainstem response, and otoacoustic emissions for preoperative evaluation; auditory brainstem and direct eighth-nerve intraoperative monitoring for intraoperative evaluation; and touches on postoperative auditory assessment.Entities:
