Abstract
The knowledge and performance of hemodialysis nursing staff at Zagazig University Hospitals, Egypt, were evaluated using a quasi-experimental design. Participants received an educational program developed from international standards and national guidelines. The number of nurses who achieved satisfactory knowledge and performance scores increased significantly post-intervention, and were sustained for three months after the intervention. A strong, positive correlation was also found between the participants' knowledge and their performance.Entities:
