Abstract
Popliteal artery trauma is a potentially devastating injury to the lower extremity with substantial associated morbidity. Pseudoaneurysm and arteriovenous fistula formation are complications of arterial injury that often present in a delayed fashion. Although these have traditionally been repaired using an open procedure, the growth of minimally invasive techniques has provided new therapeutic options for the treatment of such lesions. The present report discusses the successful treatment of concomitant popliteal pseudoaneurysm and arteriovenous fistula after delayed presentation by placing covered stents endovascularly.Entities:
