Abstract
We assessed hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) among 88 diabetic residents in three Italian nursing homes, and compared figures with current guidelines and reports in the literature. Mean HbA1c was 6.5%; this paper from Southern Europe confirms recent findings in nursing homes on HbA1c values well below recommended targets.Entities:
