Abstract
INTRODUCTION: The aim was to examine the effect of a sedative or analgesic supplement to periprostatic nerve blockage (PNB) on pain reduction during probe insertion and needle penetration in patients undergoing transrectal ultrasound (TRUS)-guided prostate biopsy.
