Abstract
This protocol describes a method for the microdissection of Drosophila polytene chromosomes. The microdissected DNA can be amplified by degenerate oligonucleotide primed-polymerase chain reaction (DOP-PCR) and then used to prepare probes for fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH).Entities:
