Angiosarcoma of the prostate. An immunohistochemical study of a case.

K W Chan1.

Abstract

A rare case of angiosarcoma occurring in the prostate of a 35-year-old man and characterized by a classical histological appearance is presented. The diagnosis was confirmed by the demonstration of factor VIII-related antigen in the tumor cells. The case illustrates the aggressive nature of angiosarcoma of the prostate.
