Abstract
Optic neuritis (ON) is a common disorder of the neuro-ophthalmology, which harms patients vision seriously. However, there are a lot of controversy and confusion about its etiology. While ON has familial characteristic and the tendency of heredity to some extent. Recently, association studies have made considerable progress with the rapid development of molecular biology techniques and statistical methods.
