Abstract
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is associated with the appearance of autoreactive T cells in the central nervous system. Using a mouse model of MS, Arima et al. now show that this attack begins at a specific spinal cord location. T cell entry into the CNS is regulated by a reflex neural circuit originating from leg muscle contractions.Entities:
