Abstract
The tibialis posterior is the main dynamic stabilizer of the hindfoot against a valgus deformity. Its rupture results in hindfoot valgus with a considerable biomechanical disturbance and functional loss in the affected foot. A new method of reconstruction of this tendon is described which involves the use of half the tendon of tibialis anterior.Entities:
