Abstract
In this paper, Kolb's theory of experimental learning theory is briefly outlined. This overview is followed by a summary of research on the theory in nursing populations. Moderate support for various propositions of the theory suggests that further research is warranted and that Kolb's model may be useful as a basis for developing instructional activities in professional nursing education programmes.Mesh:
