Abstract
INTRODUCTION: The endocannabinoid system participates in food intake, energy balance and lipid and glucose metabolism. The biological effects of cannabinoids are limited by the activation of the endocannabinoid degrading enzyme fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH). This study aims to analyse whether 385 C/A polymorphism of FAAH is associated with metabolic syndrome (MetS) in the Chinese Han population.Entities:
