Abstract
The polymerase chain reaction was used to measure the DNA copy number of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Differences in polymerase chain reaction amplification efficiency were controlled by amplifying known amounts of HIV DNA in parallel with samples. This technique is a sensitive, accurate, and reproducible method for the quantitation of HIV DNA.Entities:
