Abstract
Impaction of a foreign body (FB) in the larynx is a rare situation. It is more common in children then older age group. The authors report two cases of unusual foreign bodies in the larynx which presented with complaints of sudden onset of change of voice without any respiratory difficulty. One was of 9 y and other was a 7-y-old boy with foreign body in the glottis. In both cases there was accidental inhalation of the FB which was immediately followed by difficulty of speech. Metallic foreign bodies were removed successfully by direct laryngoscopy under general anesthesia (GA) which is followed by recovery of the symptoms.Entities:
