Abstract
The lysolecithin acyltransferase of human plasma is shown to be associated with the high-density lipoprotein fraction. Although the low density lipoproteins do not have intrinsic enzyme activity, their presence activated the enzyme 3--7-fold. This activation is not affected by heat-treatment of the low density lipoproteins, but is abolished by the addition of heparin.Entities:
