Abstract
Bis(N-methylindolyl)methane derivatives behave as chemosensors for Hg(2+) and Cu(2+) ions relying on the absorption as well as emission changes. Rarely reported IMPLICATION logic gate operating in the fluorescence mode has been developed with respect to the emission band of one of the derivatives as output, with Hg(2+) and I(-) as inputs.Entities:
