Abstract
We describe a case of subaortic left ventricular aneurysm with concealed infective endocarditis. The patient, who was diagnosed with aortic regurgitation and a subaortic left ventricular aneurysm, did not exhibit any evidence of infective endocarditis preoperatively. However, histopathological examination after an aortic valve replacement revealed neutrophil infiltration in the resected aneurysm.
