Abstract
A spontaneous intra-amniotic hemorrhage is a very rare condition, which has been previously described in symptomatic patients. We report a case of an asymptomatic spontaneous intra-amniotic hemorrhage at 38 weeks of gestation, resulting in a favorable maternal and neonatal outcome following sonographic antenatal detection of an intra-amniotic blood clot. This pathology should be acknowledged, since a good clinical outcome depends on early diagnosis.Entities:
