Abstract
Sterol synthesis in human mononuclear leukocytes is stimulated by delipidated serum. Synthesis in media containing serum delipidated by three different methods is compared. Significant differences between subjects are shown and the differences are maximized by measuring synthesis in serum delipidated by extraction with butanol-diisopropyl ether 40:60 and diethyl ether.Entities:
