Abstract
Persistent effusions of chylous fluid may prolong the hospitalization period of many patients who have had a Fontan procedure. Herein we report the case histories of two patients in whom use of a pleuroperitoneal shunt to control the effusion shortened the hospital stay by several weeks.Entities:
