Abstract
Barogenic esophageal injury or Boerhaave syndrome is an esophageal perforation entailing very high mortality and morbidity. Endoscopic techniques have been introduced in the treatment of various types of esophageal perforation. This report describes the first patient who underwent a successful endoscopic clipping involving sealing of a transpleural esophageal rupture within 24 hours of the onset of symptoms.Entities:
