Sir,I read the recent report on plagiarism by Das et al.[1] with a great interest. It is no doubt that this is a big issue for medical writers. The suggested tips for prevention of plagiarism are very useful. However, I would like to share an additional idea on this topic. First, it should be accepted that one might have the same idea and write out a work similar to the others accidentally. This is an issue that might be possible. Despite the writer has no intention, the plagiarism might accidentally occur. Hence, there should be some ways for early detection or secondary prevention of the problem. I would like to suggest these possible methods:Read your work carefully before submission. Try to find the accidental omitted references or citations.Try cut and paste your own work into the electronic search tool such as Google to find the possible previous similar contents.Use some free online anti-plagiarism tool for checking of your work to help detect the problem that you have never known.
