Abstract
The study examines the caregiver burden and sense of coherence among parents of 300 children with conduct disorder, as compared to parents of 100 children without the disorder in Israel. Parents completed the Caregiver Burden Index and the Sense of Coherence Scale. The research findings showed significant differences between the two groups, with the parents of children with conduct disorder reporting a higher caregiver burden and lower sense of coherence than the parents of children with no disorder. The study highlights the need to provide professional support for parents of children with conduct disorder and to develop appropriate intervention programs for enhancing the parents' coping abilities.Entities:
