Abstract
Renal fibrosis is a key determinant of the progression of many renal diseases and represents a final common pathway that adversely affects outcome. The evolution of renal fibrosis is complicated and involves many cellular and molecular mediators. In this review we will outline the key players in the fibrotic response of the injured kidney and discuss emerging research in the field.Entities:
