Abstract
A simple technique for fabricating stud overdenture retainers in the form of custom attachment castings with teflon retention discs has been described. This system allows for selective placement of the retention sphere on the root surface and control of retention through the size of the retention sphere. Using transfer location projections, exact transfer of the castings to the working model is possible. When necessary, the teflon discs may easily be replaced at the chairside.Entities:
