Abstract
Sodium chloride loading produced a rise in blood pressure in intact sheep which was potentiated by reduction in renal mass. ACTH induced hypertension was also potentiated by reduced renal mass, suggesting a volume component for the hypertension when renal excretory capacity for salt and water is reduced.Entities:
